Five tips for your university presentation
Short tips for organizing your ideas and slides, whether you design the deck yourself or order it.
Five tips for organizing your presentation.
Write the main idea first
Before you start, write in one line what the audience should remember, and make every slide serve it.
One idea per slide
A clear title, and below it a number, chart or diagram that supports it.
One font, two colors
A clear font in two or three weights, one main color and one accent. That’s enough for a tidy deck.
Give numbers context
“42%” alone says nothing. “42% of the sample use the app daily” says a lot.
Rehearse the timing
Run the full presentation out loud at least once before the day.
